In reality, Connecticut offers so much more—beaches, nightlife, agriculture, and some of the best universities in the United States. This is where the American Dream comes to life, where people pursue their goals while also enjoying a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle. Connecticut is a work-hard, play-hard state. Connecticut Proud captures the true spirit and pride of what it means to be a New Englander from Connecticut.







My approach captures Connecticut’s spirit with bold colors, patterns, and typography that reflect its unique and ambitious character. Even though Connecticut is small, its creativity and personality are anything but. Drawing from the beautiful state parks, rich history, and work-hard, play-hard culture, the design evolves the needs of residents in CT. It helps change the state’s image from just being known as an insurance capital by using colors and messages that truly show what Connecticut has to offer. I also bring humor into the messaging, which is something people don’t see often. For example, a playful nod to Connecticut apples helps make the ads more memorable.
